September 18, 2024. We still remember vividly what happened during one of the sold-out concerts in 2019 in Bogotá, Colombia. The power went out and the orchestra could not play for a full hour. An 8-year-old boy, who was sitting in the stands with his mother, started to play a plastic flute and got the audience involved. André rewarded him with the gift of a professional silver flute. Now, 5 years later, André is back in Colombia, and to our great surprise Daniel Sanabria, now 13 years old, turned to be his special guest during the encores of the show. The boy had grown a lot in height and was dressed in a tuxedo. In the past 5 years he had studied the transverse flute and he is on his way to became a professional musician.
